Twitter few months ago in their blog revealed their upcoming enhancements and now it’s time now. There have been alot of downfall for Twitter but it stayed true with their main propaganda i.e 140 character limit. Jack Dorsey (CEO of Twitter) always kept this 140 character limit alive. So, with a tweet you only talk to the point unlike any other social media. Well, Twitter brought changes but still kept the limit of words you tweet out.
Today, Twitter official released the features. So, here are the new features you’ll get this rollout. Be patient and get excited!

New Features;
and moreover if you reply to someone adding their “@username”, even this won’t be counted as words.
- Replies: As, “@username” is not counted as words, conversation will more and words will be more spelled making conversation more accurate and elaborate. Tweet More!
- Media attachments: When you add attachments like photos, GIFs, videos, polls, or Quote Tweets, that media will no longer count as characters within your Tweet. In short, Multimedia’s which you inset while tweeting will not be considered as words anymore. More room for words!
- Retweet and Quote Tweet yourself: This is been in twitter for a month now and now its pretty common for anyone to retweet their own tweet. Own Publicity!
These features are not going to blow your mind but this minor changes might enhance you to tweet, making twitter more useful. Slowly but steadily twitter is growing and gaining the market value which was once lost. We expect lot more coming from twitter. Anyways, What do you guys think about this new features??
