Coolpad Note 3S, Mega 3: Specs, Pricing And Availability

Coolpad is geared up to host a launch event in India today. The highlights will be on two new smartphones (launching) i.e Note 3S and the Mega 3 and here is everything you need to know.

Coolpad Note 3S is the successor to the last year’s Note 3 (October 2015). In the course of the year, Coolpad has launched variants like Note 3 Lite and Note 3 Plus. Moreover the upcoming Mega 3 is expected to be the successor to the Mega 2.5D, which was launched earlier this year.

Not a lot is known about the upcoming smartphones. But based on coolpad’s teasers, it is expected that Mega 3 will be featuring a triple-SIM card slot with a dedicated (separate) MicroSD card slot. The selfie camera will be accompanied by LED flash and the smartphone will sustain more than a day with its massive 3,050mAh battery.

Adding to the known specs about Coolpad Note 3S, it will feature a curved glass display and some other specifications like 32GB onboard storage, 3GB RAM, and VoLTE.

Perspective…

Last years Coolpad Note 3 featured a 5.5-inch HD display, Which was powered by MediaTek MT6753 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 3GB RAM, 16GB Storage, and MicroSD card slot. The smartphone also featured 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 3,000mAh battery and it was priced Rs 8,999 (2015).

On the other hand, Coolpad Mega 2.5D featured a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved display, MediaTek MT67355P 64-bit-quad-core chipset again with 3GB RAM, 16GB Storage, and a MicroSD card slot. This smartphone came with 8MP rear and front camera, 2,500mAh battery and it was priced Rs 6,999 (Oct 2016)

Pricing And Availability

Expect some enhancements in the specs for both the device as its successor to the respective smartphone and if it is priced under Rs 10,000 then the upcoming Coolpad smartphone will face tough competition from the newly launched Lenovo K6 Power, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and so on.
