Salman is planning to enter the smartphone market with his own BeingSmart brand. The actor owns Being Human clothing brand, has registered ‘Being Smart’ trademark for his smartphone venture, according to Economic Times.
It is reported that the superstar is looking for investors. Apparently, he has identified a manufacturer in China for making these phones and ET has speculated that the device will run on Android and will be priced below Rs 20,000.

BeingSmart Smartphone
The smartphone will be under BeingSmart brand, which will be targeting the entry-to-middle market segment. Addition to that, it is reported that either Salman or his family members will take the direct shareholding of this smartphone venture.
Two Top Industry Executives Told ET;
Salman is currently building an operational management team to be headed by a professional with leadership stints at Samsung and Micromax.
The smartphone will be sold through ‘Being Human’ retail stores and online stores initially. All the share profits from the ‘Being Smart’ venture will go to charity and social work. The smartphone is expected to launch before the festive season later this year.
