Instagram Adds Pinterest Like Feature For Organizing Saved Posts: Rip Off?

After ripping off Snapchat’s stories feature. Instagram is moving towards. Well, Instagram adds Pinterest like feature for organizing saved posts. The Facebook-owned app now lets you save individual posts into collections, ripping off Pinterest marquee feature.


Instagram plans to rip off the features of Pinterest. The photo-sharing app is killing other services lately and adds the respective feature to its own so you have less reason to spend time anywhere else. The difference between Instagram collections and Pinterest is that the former are private, so only you can see them.

Instagram Adds Pinterest Like Feature

Saving a photo to a collection is really easy. All you have to do is that hold the bookmark icon and that’s it. Further, you can save into an existing collection or a create a new one. Even the creation of a new collection is simple too; go to your profile, tap the bookmark tab and then tap the “+” icon in the top right corner.

Instagram has terribly copied this idea and implemented on their own. The company says that 46% of its users have saved at least one post since it got launched last year December 2016. The collections added are going to be private. Instagram makes user experience simple which help to save photos and not to mention, for sponsored posts as well.
