Soon after launching the Redmi 4A, Xiaomi has launched Redmi 4, company’s latest budget smartphone and the successor to the last years Redmi 3S. Apparently, the Redmi 3S was the highest online-selling smartphone in India with over 40 lakh units shipped in nine months, according to the company.

Xiaomi Redmi 4
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 was originally introduced as the Redmi 4X in China early this year. The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, powered by Snapdragon 435 SoC, paired with 2GB / 3GB / 4GB RAM (variants) and similarly has 16GB / 32GB / 64GB expandable storage.
The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Even though it runs on MIUI 8 on top Android Marshmallow, it offers beta testing for Android Nougat out of the box. Everything is backed by a 4100mAh battery.
