Xiaomi has just launched Redmi 4 smartphone in India and rumors of Xiaomi Redmi 5 has already started popping up, which is also the successor to Redmi 4. The smartphone has made an appearance online, perhaps for the first time.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 Leaked Image
The smartphone was recently leaked via TENAA listing, which was spotted by AndroidHeadline. As per the leaked images, the Xaiomi Redmi 5 will not come with a full metal body (hinted back in February), but instead a polycarbonate body.
According to leaks the Redmi 5 will be powered by ARM processor clocked at 2GHz, well, this is contradictory to the TENAA listing which hinted the processor clocked at 1.4GHz. And a major setback to the phone (according to the image leaked) is missing fingerprint scanner, while the previous listing shows it to be placed at the back.
