Xiaomi MIUI 9 aka Android Nougat for Xiaomi devices will arrive before August 16, the company confirmed. The news came after Xiaomi confirmed that the MIUI 9 is under development and will be soon hitting supported devices.

Xiaomi MIUI 9 Will Hit Supported Devices Soon
Product manager of Xiaomi has shared a screenshot of the MIUI on Weibo earlier this week. This was apparently done to collect feedback from the user about their thoughts about MIUI 9’s forthcoming design.
There was screenshot added as a sample design, which was falsely predicted as MIUI, but Xiaomi came out confirmed that the image used is not a screenshot of MIUI 9. In addition to that Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun had mentioned earlier that MIUI 9 will be smooth and powerful compared to the previous versions (obviously).
Xiaomi MIUI 9 Supported Devices
MIUI 9 is expected to come with the split-screen mode and the picture-in-picture mode, as these features come bundled with Android O. Well, The list includes 10 smartphones that will get Android 7.0 update and four smartphones that will get Android 7.1 update.
