Instagram has been adding new features up its sleeves and several other new features are under testing and one among them is a feature that allows users to go Live with a friend.

Go Live With A Friend
Instagram is testing a new feature that will let you invite another person to join your Live broadcast from their own device. This is certainly different from going Live with a friend sitting right next to you.
It is really easy to add a guest while you are broadcasting. Simply tap the new icon on the bottom right and tap “Add” to invite anyone who is currently watching. And once they join, you will see the screen split into two, and your friend pop up right below you. Well, your viewers can still like and comment on the video.

You can remove your guest and add someone else at any point in time or they can also choose to exit on their own. You can share your live video to stories when your broadcast ends or choose “Discard” as usual.

This apparently brings a whole new level of possibilities, such as live news interviews, comedy skits, or even a talk show to air on Instagram in the near future. According to Instagram, the feature is currently being tested with a small number of users and will be rolling out globally over the next few months.
