Xiaomi has announced Mi MIX 2 at an event in China. The smartphone comes with a ceramic body and uses Cantilever Piezoelectric ceramic acoustic system, apparently allowing you to listen to call without an earpiece, much like its predecessor.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
The MIX 2 packs in a 5.99-inch 18:9 FHD+ display with ultra narrow bezels, powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM / 8GB RAM (Special Edition), 64GB / 128GB / 256GB storage, runs on Android Oreo and is backed by a 3400mAh battery.
The MIX 2 sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor and a 5-megapixel camera on the front on the right bottom, which also supports face recognition. It also has a sound guided speaker that has 50mW high power speaker for enhanced audio experience.

Manu Kumar Jain, Group Vice President and Managing Director of Xiaomi India just tweeted that the company will be launching it in India soon, even though the company did not bring its first Mi Mix to India. Although, he didn’t share if the Mi Note 3 will come to India.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 comes in Black color with four-sided curved ceramic body with aluminum alloy frame and is priced at CNY 3299 (roughly Rs 32,326 / US$506) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage version, CNY 3599 (roughly Rs 35,265 / US$552) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and for the 6GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs CNY 3999 (roughly Rs 39,185 / US$613).

The Mi MIX 2 Special Edition with a full ceramic body, comes in Black and White colors and is priced at CNY 4699 (roughly Rs 46,045 / US$721) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB non-expandable storage variant.
