Samsung To Release A Bendable Galaxy Note Next Year; Report

Samsung has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone; Galaxy Note 8 last month. After Infinity Edge-to-Edge display, a report from the Associated Press claims that Samsung is now aiming to introduce a foldable phone in 2018.

Samsung’s Bendable Galaxy Note

It is clear that Samsung is mastering the technology while infinity display, which also use flexible OLED panels to bend around the edge of a smartphone. Samsung is speculated to feature a bendable Galaxy Note next year.

Dongjin Koh, President of Mobile Business, Samsung said;

When we can overcome some problems for sure, we will launch the product. We are digging thoroughly into several issues we must overcome, as we don’t want to just make a few, sell a few and be done. We want to hear that Samsung made a very good product.

Koh, further said that “We have a plan to adopt a foldable display in our roadmap.” Despite all the rumors swirling for many years, this is the first time Samsung has publicly spoken about plans for a foldable phone.

Last year, Samsung applied for a patent for a foldable phone that bends. Well, According to some reports, Samsung produced a number of dual-screen smartphones made up of two OLED display joined together by a hinge this year to test the capabilities of a foldable device.
