HP has announced world’s first detachable PC workstation; HP ZBook x2. It is specifically aimed at artists, designers, and digital imaging professionals. The PC workstation comes with a detachable keyboard and a chunky 14-inch tablet.

HP ZBook x2

The detachable tablet mode sports a 14-inch (2160 x 3840 pixels) touchscreen display. It has support for Pen and is designed by HP with Wacom tech, which includes 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

In docked mode, the ZBook x2 can support up to two 4K resolution display or five total displays. It features HP Sure Start 3rd-gen for BIOS protection, TPM 2.0 for hardware encryption and HP’s Client Security Suite 3rd-generation for protecting sensitive data.

The x2 has passed MIL-STD 810G military-grade testing to withhold in the rain, dust, extreme temperatures. The HP ZBook Z2 price starts at US$1,749 (Rs. 1,13,827 / EUR 1,478) for the base model and it will be available from December.
