Samsung has finally unveiled; Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, after a long saga of rumors and leaks. The rugged smartphone from Samsung has a polycarbonate build and comes with IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and MIL-STD 810G standard for durability.

The Galaxy S8 Active features a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Active 1In addition to that, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active runs on Android Nougat, features a 12-megapixel dual pixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera and all these are backed by a 4000mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active comes in Meteor Gray and Titanium Gold and is priced at US$850 (Rs 54,190) from AT&T and will go up for pre-orders tomorrow. Customers can also purchase the device through offline stores from August 11 onwards.
