Airtel Digital TV today launched India’s first hybrid DTH set-top box. It is a WiFi enabled internet TV, which is apparently an Android TV box, developed by LG.

The set-top box has Wi-Fi, Ethernet, HDMI Port, Bluetooth and also has Google voice search feature. So, you can search contents just by your voice. In addition to that, it supports 4K content from Netflix and from other sources too such has YouTube and so on.
You can pause the live TV, record or rewind it. You can even store or play the content from SD card or USB. And you can even cast your screen or content easily. You can connect game controller or can even use a smartphone as a gamepad.

Airtel Internet TV is priced at Rs 4999 with 3 months of Digital TV subscription. Well, as a limited time offer of Rs 7999 offer you get a one-year subscription to all HD and SD channels, 3 months of Eros Now subscription and 1 month of Netflix trial.
Existing customers can upgrade their existing STBs to Internet TV at Rs 3999. so to replace the old DTH box with Airtel Internet TV box. Special mention; you need a broadband or wireless connection with a minimum speed of 4Mbps for a smooth experience. And Airtel offers up to 258GB additional data for home Airtel broadband customers (if the users register for myHOME on MyAirtel app).
