Micromax sub-brand YU has sent out media invites for a new smartphone (rumored as Yu Yureka Black) launch event on June 1 at 12:30 PM. Yes, the YU brand is not dead yet. The invite teases a Yureka smartphone in a black color variant with the tagline — ‘Yureka is back with Black’.

Yu Yureka Black
Yu has been inactive in the smartphone space for over a year now, which led the reports about the branding shutting down. Yu Yureka was launched back in 2017 and as per the invite, it seems that the new smartphone will be an upgrade to the previous variant.

Speaking of the specifications, there is not much we know about it, but the later will have striking new design from its predecessor and on top of that, the primary camera comes with a LED flash and antenna bands runs across the top and bottom edges of the smartphone.
