These iPhones And iPads Are Getting iOS 11 Update; Is Your Device In?

Apple in WWDC introduced iOS 11 with new File app, enhanced Siri, Voice translation, Unified Control Central, Enhanced Multitasking and more. The company has already revealed that iPhone 5, iPhone 5C and iPad 4 will not get the iOS 11 update, but will get scheduled security updates (in iOS 10).

Is Your Device Getting iOS 11 Update?

Apple has decided to end support for devices and app using 32-bit processors, as a result, iOS 11 will only work on newer iPhone that has a 64-bit processor, which will apparently let the system to use large amounts of memory.

  • iPhone 7
  • iPhone 6s Plus
  • iPhone 6s
  • iPhone 6 Plus
  • iPhone 6
  • iPhone SE
  • iPhone 5s

In addition to that, the iPod 6th generation will also receive iOS 11 update. This update will be available as a free update for both supported iPhones and iPads later this year.
