WhatsApp now allows you to send any file type, this update started rolling out and has reached a lot of users. This feature was under testing from few months and it is now available in the version 2.17.254.

WhatsApp Now Let’s You To Send Any File Type
WhatsApp is not only expanding its file types to send as attachments but from now, users can swipe up in the in-app camera to see all the photos and videos available in the smartphone gallery. It has also renewed the design of its video calling interface along with voice calls.

In addition to that, the company has also added text styling options to select, so, after typing and you can go long press the selection to invoke the contextual menu and apply the style that you want in the photo.

The beta version of the app suggests that WhatsApp is working on a new feature for WhatsApp groups. This upcoming feature will let group admins add a description to the group and no brainer that’s the reason it named as ‘Group description’.

And will also help users to differentiate between groups that may look identical in terms of name or group icon. The functionality is available as a hidden feature on Beta versions of Android.
