After a long saga of leaks and rumors, HMD Global has announced the flagship Nokia 8 smartphone at an event in London. The latest flagship from the Nokia features an organic full aluminum unibody design, machined from a single block of 6000 series aluminum, then polished to give out a luxury mirror finish.

Nokia 8: The Flagship
Nokia packs a 5.3-inch Quad HD display with 554ppi pixel density, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with a 6GB / 4GB RAM, with 128GB / 64GB expandable storage, runs on Android Nougat backed by a 3090mAh battery.
Rear side, there are dual 13-megapixel rear cameras with ZEISS optics (one with RGB sensor and other with monochrome sensor) i.e one for the color photo and other for low light and dedicated black and white photography. There is a 13-megapixel autofocus front-facing camera with PDAF and wide angle lens.

Nokia 8 comes with Nokia OZO spatial 360-degree audio uses the phone’s 3 microphones and Nokia acoustic technology algorithm to capture the sound in incredible detail.
The Nokia 8 uses Dual-Sight technology for both front and back camera, fusing both images together into one photo or video file. You can also broadcast live directly to Facebook and YouTube from within the camera app.

The Nokia 8 comes in Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, Steel and Polished Copper colors and is priced at EUR 599 (which is roughly Rs 44,990 /US$700). It will start shipping in early September globally and is speculated to launch in India in early October.
