Smartphone has grown rapidly, so do the chipset in them. MediaTek is one among the chipset makers that will surely gain further market shares, thanks to the Apple agreement and new upcoming processors.

MediaTek Helio P40 And P70 SoC

According to the latest report, Helio P40 and Helio P70 chipsets are in the making. The Helio P40 speculated to comes with 4 Cortex-A73 clocked at 2 GHz and 4 Cortex-A53 clocked at 2 GHz with Mali-G72 MP3 clocked at 700MHz.

On the other hand, the Helio P70 will be powered by 4 Cortex-A73 clocked at 2.5GHz and 4 Cortex-A53 clocked at 2GHz with Mali-G72 MP3 clocked at 800MHz. Both the chipset will support 3 ISP with support for photosensors (up to 32 megapixels).

In addition to that, both the chipset includes eMMC 5.1, UFS 2.1, AI and Google’s TensorFlow. The difference here is that the RAM capacity of P40 is up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM clocked at 1866MHz and support LTE Cat. 7, while the Helio P70 spills 8GB LPDD4 RAM clocked at 3733 MHz with LTE Cat. 12 support.
