OPPO has launched its flagship smartphone; OPPO R15 in China. The main highlight of the smartphone is its AI integrated cameras, VOOC Flash Charging and 19:9 aspect ratio OLED display, which has 90% of screen-to-body ratio and the company calls it Super-V Display.

OPPO R15; The Flagship
The R15 comes with 6.28-inch FHD+ 19:9 OLED display with a notch, powered by MediaTek Helio P60 12nm SoC, while the R15 Dream Mirror Editon is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC. Both the smartphone sports 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and runs on Android Oreo. The R15 is backed by a 3450mAh battery, while the Dream Mirror Edition is backed by a 3400mAh battery.
Coming to cameras, the R15 has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and comes with AI Intelligent Scene Recognition which can recognize 16 kinds of scenes and 120 kinds of multi-scene combinations and also comes with AI portraits with built-in AI chip. The R15 has a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera, while the Dream Mirror Edition features a 20-megapixel secondary camera with f/1.7 aperture.

The OPPO R15 comes in Snow White, Hote Red and Start Purple colors and is priced at CNY 2999 (roughly INR 30,800 / USD 473), while the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition comes in Red and Ceramic – priced at CNY 3299 (roughly INR 33,880 / USD 520) and CNY 3499 (roughly INR 35,935 / USD 552) respectively. It is now available for order and goes on sale in China from April 1st.
