New Mi Router
According to a post on Weibo, the official page of the Mi router asked users some questions like: ‘Need a good card for playing? Is the account stolen? Can’t connect to the air purifier? Is the webpage loading slowly? What happened to your network? On July 18, Xiaomi and Jinshan Cloud will give you the answer!’.
This post clearly suggests a collaboration between Xiaomi and Jinshan Cloud. Well, Jinshan Cloud is one of the top three cloud providers in public cloud in China. Furthermore, it is the most valued independent cloud provider in China. According to the slogan ‘wiser and faster.’ we can expect a powerful and much secure router.

New Mi Router: Expected Features
The Xiaomi Mi 4 Router was a capable product. The major highlights of the router included the ability to connect to up to a maximum of 128 devices at a time and really impressive speed performances. The new Mi Router may offer design ergonomics similar to that of the Mi 4 Router. We can expect the new Mi router to be much faster, smarter, and secure as compared to the previous generation.
The previous generation Mi router retailed for a price of 199 Yuan, which is a cheap price for the router of that caliber. Consequently, we can expect the Mi Router to be launched in the similar price range.
