Xiaomi Qin AI Android Powered Feature Phone With AI Voice Features Launched In China

Stepping up the feature phone game, Xiaomi has launched a feature phone dubbed as Xiaomi Qin AI, a smartphone running on Android OS along with few added features. Xiaomi has launched this phone via its crowdfunding platform in China.

Xiaomi Qin AI: Stepping The Featured Phone Game

The Qin AI comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) color display with T9 keyboard, powered by ARM Cortex A53 SoC with a dual-core processor, coupled with 256GB RAM, 512MB expandable storage, runs on Android OS called Mocor 5 and backed by a 1,480mAh battery.

Coming to the camera, well this feature phone does not come with front or rear cameras but has infrared sensor to control home appliances. Furthermore, the Qin AI also comes with a hybrid dual SIM card slot, and a 3.5mm audio socket.

The main highlight of the phone is that it is a 4G VoLTE enabled feature phone which has AI voice features for real-time voice translation in 17 different languages. The AI can also answer questions and tell poetry to children.

The Xiaomi Qin AI will be offered in Black and White color options, and is priced at 199 RMB (roughly Rs 2,000). It can be pre-ordered from Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform. It will start shipping from September 15. No word on whether or not Xiaomi plans to launch it in other markets.
