Xiaomi‘s sub-brand POCO launched its first smartphone; POCO F1 in India. The main highlight of the smartphone is its powerful internals, LiquidCool Technology, AI camera and the fact that Xiaomi has aggressively priced this awesome piece of hardware.

POCO F1: The Real Flagship Killer?
The POCO F1 comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM, paired with 64GB/ 128GB/256GB expandable storage, runs on Android Oreo with POCO launcher and all these are backed by a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.

Coming to the camera, the POCO F1 sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera to capture portrait shots, real-time AI, intelligent scene recognition that can detect 206 scenes across 25 categories. While, on the front, it has a 20-megapixel front camera with AI features and pixel binning (like Huawei P20 Pro).

The body of the smartphone is hard-coated polycarbonate and also comes in Kevlar back option called Armored Edition that uses Kevlar aramid fibre. Apart from that, the F1 has IR face unlock that can unlock the phone 0.4 seconds, even in pitch darkness (company claims).
