Casio PRO TREK Smart WSD F-30 Rugged Outdoor Watch With GPS Announced

Casio has unveiled its third generation Outdoor Watch in the PRO TEK series dubbed as WSD F-30 ahead of IFA 2018. The main highlight of this watch is its military standard rugged specifications and GPS tracking and a feature called Extend Mode.

The WSD F-30 comes with a 1.2-inch (390×390 pixels) dual layer display with monochrome and color LCDs. This runs on Google’s Wear OS and comes with an Extend Mode which enables the use of offline maps and GPS log up to three consecutive days on a single change.

Not only that, in Extend Mode – time and measurement data us continuously shows on the monochrome display (pretty much like the Ambient display on smartphones) and a color map can be displayed with a push of a button.

The Extend Mode also conserves energy by switching the operating system to energy-saving standby mode based on the activity plan, allowing the user to track their current location on an offline map and record tracks during activities.

The WSD-F30 comes in Blue, Black and Orange colors, and is priced at US$549 (~ Rs. 38,865). It will be available in January 2019 at select jewelry and watch retailers nationwide.
