Stuffcool Dizzy: Design & Hardware

Starting off with the design, it looks pretty good with the elegant amount of toughness. The Dizzy is made out of a combination of plastic and metal, which makes it lightweight and comes at just 14 grams. Much like OnePlus Bullets, this earphone too features a magnetic join, which acts as a power on/off.

The driver unit is cylindrical with no angled ear tips, as a result, it sticks out of ears, but overall, it fits quite well and aids comfort for long hours usage. There are two modules in this earphone- one with the three button controls and the mic, while the other module carries the 60mAh battery in it. The rubberized cable ideally sits at the behind your head.

Speaking of the module, the control buttons on the earphones isn’t clicky enough making it tough to click. Well, the central button acts as play/pause, and the other two buttons, which acts as forward and back buttons. There is also a micro USB port to charge the headset.

Stuffcool Dizzy: Audio Quality

The pairing process of this earphone is no complication, is pretty nimble. The audio quality is quite astonishing, the lows were okaying, mids were good and the highs are mediocre. The earphone throws out good sound considering the size.

Furthermore, the earphone seems to be slightly bent towards bass and (more towards) vocals, which is good for audiophiles who want a mixture of both or if we say, maybe this earphone is best suited for people who enjoy clean vocals and instrumentals. The in-line microphone worked really well without any issues.

Along with that, the noise isolation is good and can be considered for the daily commute. Talking about the battery, the earphones come with a 60mAh battery gives out a maximum of 4.5 hours of backup depending on voice levels, which is good. Well, with moderate usage, the earphone will last you just a day. It takes almost around two hours to charge fully.

There are several features included in this earphone, like to hold a call straight from the control pod or re-dialing the phone number (again) straight from the control pod. On the flip side, it is kind of complicated to work around, but practice will do.

Verdict

This headset was tested over a period of two weeks, so the conclusion is clearly appropriate. The build and the sound quality of the Stuffcool Dizzy Magnetic Bluetooth earphone are really good for the price you’re paying. The stand-out USP is the magnetic join and good audio output in a decent form factor.

No denying, OnePlus Bullet and 1More iBFree also falls into the same budget, but we think, the bass production on this earphone beats Bullets earphones closely and iBFree with a long range. The Dizzy comes in three colour options (Black, Red and Space Grey) and depending on the colour, it starts at Rs 2,468.
