Samsung is not a popular brand in the mid-range smartphone segment in India. The mid-range smartphone market is still ruled by Chinese manufacturers. Well, Samsung will be introducing its infinity display technology on a budget-oriented smartphone. So here’s everything you need to know about the ‘Galaxy On’ before its launch.

Samsung Galaxy On: Expected Features And Specifications

The new Galaxy On smartphone will come with Super-AMOLED display technology and will sport 4GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, industry sources told IANS on Tuesday. The smartphone may be powered by Samsung’s Exynos processor. Furthermore, the device may feature a full-fledged version of Samsung Mall. Well, Samsung Mall now uses Artifical Intelligence and Machine Learning to predict the products within seconds.

The smartphone will run on Samsung’s own custom skin Experience UI based on Android 8.1 Oreo. In January, Samsung India launched “Galaxy On7 Prime” with a “Make for India” feature named Samsung Mall. Samsung will also roll out a digital campaign before the launch as it refreshes the Galaxy On series. The major highlight of the Galaxy On smartphone will be the inclusion of the infinity display.

Samsung’s Declined Sales In Mid-Range Market

Samsung was a well-known brand in the mid-range smartphone market a few years ago. Well, continuous mistakes made Samsung the worst brand in the mid-range smartphone market. Samsung used the same Exynos 7870 processor continuously for around three years. Consequently, three consecutive generation of mid-range smartphones were launched with the same processor.

Furthermore, Samsung launched the Galaxy J7 Duo in 2018 with a 720p display. Well, you can easily get a FULL HD+ display for the same or less price to that of the Galaxy J7. Hence, selling and purchasing a smartphone based on a brand’s name is not at all beneficial to users.
